Revitalization Planning

HMA continues to be involved in revitalization planning assignments for clients and has specialized in assisting communities that are in need of economic revitalization.  HMA’s work has focused in historic center areas of communities that often were once booming at the height of the manufacturing and mill era in New England, but which have since experienced decline. Revitalization plans prepared by HMA generally build from an area’s existing strengths and identify the potential for capitalizing upon market needs that are not currently being met, while exploring strategies to improve the overall physical appearance of the area.
