RIMS II Input-Output Analysis
HMA offers additional economic planning services in the form of input-output economic analysis. Using the RIMS II Model, or Regional Input-Output Multiplier System Model, HMA offers the ability to trace inter-industry flows of money for purchasing and sales of products and services, as well as consumer spending. Most recently HMA has used the RIMS II Model to assess the potential economic impacts resulting from the development of a 1,000 home golf course residential community on its surrounding region. HMA can provide "ripple effect" or "multiplier effect" analyses resulting from potential changes in spending based on customized multipliers for specific counties or regions.
