Housing Analysis and Strategies

HMA has extensive experience in performing housing analyses and strategies, ranging from a scale of a single neighborhood to a region comprising dozens of municipalities.  The focus varies according to the client needs and objectives, but often include an assessment of housing value and sales price, household demographics, age of existing housing stock, recent pace of residential development, and need for or availability of affordable housing.  The connection between jobs and housing is a critical relationship that is often included as part of these studies.  This connection is needed to have a sound understanding of the potential housing market relative to any expansion or contraction in employment base.
