Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Mapping

Much of HMA’s work involves creating, acquiring, and using digital geographic data for a variety of planning purposes.  Using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) through a number of software packages, the HMA staff is able to perform spatial analysis to meet the needs of its public and private clients.  HMA’s staff is fully trained in GIS applications and has experience in using GIS for a range of project types.  The primary areas of focus for HMA’s GIS and mapping work includes:
